Don’t miss this fun-filled event that sets the stage for a week of incredible food\, entertainment\, and family-friendly festivities! \nGrand Parade Instructions \n\nStarting Point: Herrin Middle School\nLine-Up Time: 10:00 AM\n\nNo fee is required to participate. We encourage businesses and political entries to donate to the Herrin Food Pantry. Donations can be mailed to: 509 N 17th St\, Herrin\, IL 62948. \nTo participate in the parade\, please fill out the registration form: Parade Registration FormPARADE RULES \nPlease follow the instructions below. \nArrival and Line-Up \n\nUpon Arrival: Look for a Parade Marshal at the corner of Ash Street and 13th Street. You must check in with a Marshal before taking your position. They will assist you in staging your float or vehicle.\nPositioning: Follow their directions to ensure a smooth and organized line-up. Do not move your entry without authorization. Please arrive no later than 10:45 AM.\nFloat and Music Encouragement:We encourage all participants to include engaging floats and lively music!\n\nSafety Guidelines \nProhibited Items: \n\nThrowing hard objects from your vehicle or float is strictly prohibited.\nPlease refrain from using cannons of any kind and/or confetti\, as it can create safety hazards and complicate clean-up.\nThrowing items in a way that causes spectators to enter the parade route is prohibited.\nFireworks\, open flames\, alcohol consumption\, unauthorized drone use\, and any offensive or inappropriate content are strictly prohibited.\n\nParade Start \n\nTiming: The parade will start promptly at 11:00 AM. Late entries may not be permitted.\nRoute: The parade will proceed down Park Avenue and end at Polk Street.\n\nJudging and Announcements \n\nThe judges will be located in front of Herrin City Hall.\nAnnouncement: Your entry will be announced at City Hall\, so be sure to put your best foot forward!\n\nThank you for being part of the Grand Parade!
