DESCRIPTION:The Herrinfesta Road Races has a long history of families and friends coming together on Memorial Day to have fun\, to suffer in the heat for a few miles\, and enjoy time with friends and family. If you have never ran it before then you should come join us for a really fun time. With one of the fastest courses around\, runners can come to Herrin and shoot for a new PR. This is a family friendly event with a few race options. DESCRIPTION:The HerrinFesta team is excited to announce: FESTA DI PICKLEBALL! \nA pickleball tournament by the Herrin High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)\nto raise funds for the FBLA National Leadership Conference. \nTournament Info:\nThis half-day tournament will be held at the Herrin City Park outdoor pickleball facility with Age &\nSkill Divisions (2.5-5.0) in Coed Doubles. Coed teams may consist of any combination of men’s\,\nwomen’s\, or mixed teams. \nThe format for this tournament will be round robin\, 1 game to 11\, win by 2\, with single\nelimination playoffs. Medal matches will be the best 2 out of 3 games to 11 (win by 2). (Note – for\nsmaller brackets\, the tournament director may convert the brackets to a format of 2 out of 3 to\n11 (win by 2) or merge brackets\, if needed. Larger brackets may be divided into pools with the\ntop two from each pool advancing to the single-elimination playoffs (This may be adjusted\, as\nwell). \nMedals will be awarded to 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place winners in each event.\nThe Tournament Director reserves the right to merge brackets or change format as needed for\ntournament operations. This means that skill and/or ages could be combined depending on the\nregistration counts. \nTournament Date:\nMonday\, May 25\, 2026\n12:00pm-6:00pm\n*Full Bracket Schedule & Start Times will be released the week of the tournament.\nRegistration closes on Friday\, May 15\, 2026 \nTournament Fees:\nRegistration is $30 per player.\nAdditional Information \nRules & Format:\nThis is a non-sanctioned tournament\, but we will be following USAP 2025 rules. \nNotice:\nAge & Skill groups may be combined at the discretion of the Tournament Director to create\nbrackets as needed based on the number of registered teams/players.
