Herrin Community – Art Contest

The Herrin Community Art Contest, part of Festa Italiana 2026, invites artists of all ages and skill levels to showcase their creativity. Participants may submit original works across a wide range of mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textile art, collage, mixed media, and digital art.
Entries must be delivered to the Herrin City Library (120 N. 13th St.) on Friday, May 8th or Saturday, May 9th. Submitted artwork will be displayed at the Herrin Civic Center from Saturday, May 16th through Saturday, May 31st.
Winners will be announced during the award ceremony on Saturday, May 23rd at 2:00 PM at the Herrin City Library. Prizes include $250 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place, and $25 for 3rd place.
