HERRINFESTA ITALIANA STATEMENT REGARDING COVID-19 AND THE 2020 FESTIVAL

The 2020 HerrinFesta Italiana is set to celebrate its 30-year anniversary over Memorial Day Week from May 17 – May 25, 2020. We are a not-for-profit fundraising committee under the umbrella of the Herrin Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Herrin and the Herrin Civic Center Authority.

The COVID-19 virus is on everyone’s mind. We want to update and assure our fans that while we are proceeding with our plans, we are working closely with our local government, public safety, and public health officials to ensure the preventative steps we are taking, will provide the safest event possible for our patrons, performers, volunteers, vendors, and staff. Safety is always our first priority.

As the current situation develops, should it be determined our event poses a risk to the public and if directed by an authority of the government and or public health organization to cancel, we will promptly do so.

We will continue to work tirelessly to produce the “Best In Illinois” festival we have delivered to you for many years.
